Dr. Jake Yoon

Dr. Yoon studied physiology during his undergraduate years (2002-2006) due to his interest in sports and went on to study rehabilitation science in graduate school, both at the University of Toronto. Upon graduation, he worked at different hospitals for a few years before deciding to go back to school for dentistry. At the University of Toronto Faculty of Dentistry, Dr. Yoon was selected among his classmates to work as one of the 7 outstanding student dentists in the summer emergency department. He was also awarded Dr. Howard Rocket Preventive Scholarship, given to the two most outstanding 3rd year dental students in preventive dentistry. In the summer of 2015, he went to Jamaica to work with the Jamaican Ministry of Health to provide free dental care and education to underprivileged families. When he graduated from the University of Toronto dental school with honours, he pursued additional training in oral surgery at the Louisiana State University where he extracted over 100 teeth and assisted in complex face reconstruction surgeries.

Dr. Yoon strives for individualized and patient-centred care and takes pride in his quality work. He values good communication and building relationships with caring demeanour.

Dr. Yoon is married with two beautiful kids who are full of joy.
